About me:

My name is Mira Meckelein, founder and director of the MiraSol Project.

My mission:

It is my believe that creativity, and artistic are the gift of god. This ability allows us and specifically children to laugh, and enjoy life while learning. I personally have a deep dedication to nurturing these aspects in children around the world, and believe that through these mediums many children will be able to escape the poverty and hardships that they are born into.  It is because fo this believe that  I am dedicated to children and  the integration (Integração social) of mentally and physically handicapped children (criancas deficientes) and traumatized children who are victims of violence and abuse and the underprivileged around the world. My hope is that the children through art and education find a way to integrate into society, improve their self-esteem, and their ability to lead a healthy and successful life.

“This is art that is children’s laughter, the gift of God is to follow in the human couple days, the light in the heart. By children through art and the lights will still be reinforced in my heart.

Therefore, I am dedicated to children and in particular for the integration (Integração social) of mentally and physically handicapped children (criancas deficientes) and traumatized children who are victims of violence and abuse were. My hope is that the children through art find a way to integrate into society and improve their self-esteem.”

My way

As a child, I  was fortunate enough to attend school, and one that shared the project all inclusive prospective. This has been a priceless life experience for me, and has allowed me to integrate into multiple societies, and commune cross culturally. After my first law degree, I traveled for two years around the world, and experienced a great deal. This shaped my personality, and shook me to my core.  While traveling I ran into, learned of, and participated in many non profit and similar organizations. One in particular, an aid project in Colombia, fascinated me as it involved children playing football as a method of taking them off the street. Through team spirit, these children have been motivated to “stay tuned” and continuing going to school. The founder of this project, ( insert name )  has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.

Upon my return home, I found that it was my dream to start my own charity project, more and more solidified.

Through the establishment of the association and my work within the children’s aid project I want to wear more light and sun rays in the world. Because true happiness is the little sun rays that fall every day on our way.

The children of an aid project in Quito, Ecuador, I have tinkered a name tag goodbye to the states:

In the Mayan calendar I’m born under the sun AHAU. This stands for union, wholeness, completion, Championship, unconditional love, light and all-encompassing language awareness.

I will gladly follow.
